Terracom had the honor to participate as a "powered by" sponsor at TEDx Mavili Square 2024, an event full of inspiration and innovation that took place on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at the "Karolos Papoulias" Conference Center in Ioannina.

As the largest volunteer organization in Epirus and the only TEDx event in Western Greece, TEDx Mavili Square has managed to exceed 2,200,000 views on YouTube over the past 6 years, making its talks viral and a point of reference. This year, with the theme "Renaissance," the event focused on rebirth, evolution, and the adoption of new ideas in various fields. A rebirth that calls us to come closer to ourselves and the world around us.

Terracom, as a company focusing on innovation and growth, found in TEDx Mavili Square 2024 the ideal platform to share its own experiences and perspectives with a wide audience. On the corporate stage, Konstantinos Kefis, Alexandros Tagkas, Alexia Tatsi and Nestoras Vasileiou shared with the audience the exciting journey of Terracom, from a local software company to a globally recognized company in the field of physical security.

The presentation "From Local to Global: Our SaaS Journey" focused on the challenges and opportunities the company faced during its development, revealing some of the secrets of its success in the global SaaS market.

Innovation and Artificial Intelligence in the Spotlight

Furthermore, Terracom organized an interactive workshop where Natalia Oumnova and Pavlos Efthymiades presented Workeen AI, an innovative SaaS shift scheduling system that harnesses Artificial Intelligence. Managing shift work is a complicated task and when done manually, it becomes tough and time-consuming. Any change requires hours to rearrange the entire program, and any scheduling error may affect company productivity and increase the stress of employees. This solution, which has already attracted the interest of major organizations, is a tangible example of Terracom's commitment to innovation and developing solutions that offer real value to its customers.

Alternative Stage: Artificial Intelligence and Robotics are Changing the Work Landscape

Lastly, the company's HR manager, Anastasios Foukis, participated in the Alternative Stage on the panel discussion titled "Artificial Intelligence and Robotics". There, Anastasios shared his thoughts on the future of work and how Artificial Intelligence and Robotics can influence the industry.
