MyLoneWorkers is a real-time online management system for monitoring blue-collar workers, utilizing NFC, Beacon, Virtual checkpoint and QR-code technology. Workers scan tags placed at specific locations, instantly notifying the Monitoring Center of incidents and updates. Every time a checkpoint is scanned, along with accurate location data (GPS, Wi-Fi, GSM), information is sent to the MyLoneWorkers Web application through a secure cloud server, allowing staff to manage locations and buildings worldwide.
Equipped with this technology, each worker in the field can efficiently manage their tasks via smartphone, staying in control of incidents as they arise. Workers can enhance inspections and other tasks by attaching photos, voice notes, written notes, and signatures to scanned items. In case of danger, pressing an SOS button sends an immediate alert with precise location details, enabling the company to respond quickly to emergencies in the worker’s area.

When a lone worker reports an incident through the mobile application, an instant notification is dispatched to the web application, alerting the managing staff in real-time. However, what happens if a lone worker encounters an urgent situation and is unable to access their smartphone? To address this concern, we developed the Man Down alert feature. The concept is straightforward: if a lone worker collapses, falls, or slips due to an unexpected risk or hazard, a Man Down notification is triggered and sent to the Monitoring Center, enabling swift action. This functionality is facilitated by a sensor clip that is attached to the lone worker's uniform.
A vital tool for worker safety, the Welfare Check feature allows for the establishment of designated time intervals for safety assessments. It generates alerts for any missed checks and promptly notifies managers via both the web application and email.
